Onslow LNG Tanks (EVT)
The Onslow-Wheatstone Project was responsible for creating a LNG liquefaction and export plant with an annual capacity of 15 million tonnes of LNG. The project was valued at AU$29 billion, bringing together a joint venture between Chevron Australia Pty (72%) Royal Dutch Shell (6.4%) Apache Julimar Pty Ltd (13%), KUFPEC Australia (7%) and Kyushu Electric Power Co. (1.6%).
Bosnafix’s scope of work consisted of the following for the project:
Installation of all reinforcement on two LNG full containment storage tanks which have a capacity of 150,000 cubic metres each.
Prefabrication and installation of 2000 pile cages.
Installation of all reinforcement on 2 stair and pipe foundations.
Installation of all reinforcement on 2 stair tower foundations.
Total reinforcement tonnage 9000T.
Workforce and Project Management for 3 Supervisors and 60 steel fixers.
