Wheatstone LNG Tanks (BEST JV)

The Wheatstone LNG Tank Project saw the creation of an LNG liquefaction and export plant, which has an annual capacity of 15 million tonnes of LNG. In its first stage, the plant had a gas plant created to house two LNG trains with a capacity of 4.3 million tonnes each, per year. The total project value was set at AU$29 billion. The Project brings together a joint venture between Chevron Australia Pty (72%) Royal Dutch Shell (6.4%) Apache Julimar Pty Ltd (13%), KUFPEC Australia (7%) and Kyushu Electric Power Co. (1.6%).

Bosnafix’s scope of work for the project consisted of the following:

  • Installation of all reinforcement on concrete structures associated with Materials Offloading Facility (MOF), reinforcement beams and more. 

  • Total reinforcement tonnage 1000T.

  • Workforce of 1 Supervisor and 10 steelfixers.
